Alaina + Dustin. Pt 2.

October 17, 2014

Here it is! Part 2 of Alaina + Dustin’s gorgeous wedding [click here for part 1!]

Y’all… This reception is to die for. From the trellis dripping with strands of light and reclaimed barn wood banquet tables, to the wedding cakes, signage, menus, and centerpieces … Every detail was lovingly crafted by the bride and groom or some family member or friend. Sometimes DIY weddings can turn out pretty amazing…

Some of my favorite things from this day – Watching both Dustin and Alaina as she walked down the aisle to the sound of our sisters singing “Intimacy” by Jonathan David Helser. (It was seriously hard to hold it together! Sniffles could be heard throughout the rest of the ceremony.)
Spending time with the newlyweds after the ceremony – Mabyn and I couldn’t stop photographing these two! Every frame was so romantic and magical in this little clearing in the woods.
I love our family’s tradition of dancing with our dad and each of our three brothers during the father/daughter dance. It’s such a special time and one of my favorite memories from our wedding. I know Alaina feels the same way!
And finally, the grand exit down the front steps of the house Alaina grew up in. . . Now, stop reading and start scrolling through this eye candy!
