Alexia + Grant’s low-key mountain ceremony was the perfect way to start my double-wedding Memorial Day weekend! There were not dozens of vendors helping with every detail. There was no 15-person bridal party. But, instead, Alexia + Grant got ready and were attended to by their closest friends and family. Alexia’s mom and best friend lovingly put up her hair, just the way Alexia had pictured. Grant’s dad helped fix his tie and cuff links. Their daughter, Scarlett, couldn’t wait to get dressed up and walk down the aisle. They were both so calm while getting ready but, at the same time, SO excited and emotional!
I loved the thought that these two put into every detail to make sure their guests had a great time. The s’mores bar and ice cream were the perfect treats for such an evening! The night ended with several heartfelt toasts, a few happy tears, and a tunnel of sparklers. Perfection!
