In conversations with friends about my business, a lot of them are surprised to find that many of my clients I meet for the first time on the wedding day. But, really, it happens quite often! I love doing consultations and meeting couples in person and it’s even better when I get to photograph an engagement session and interact with them in person. But there’s something to be said about meeting a couple for the first time on one of the biggest days of their lives! Since we’ve never been around each other, I feel like I’m more observant of the way they naturally interact with each other. The glances and smiles and touches all tell so much!
Brittany + Sean are one of those couples. We had a FaceTime consult before booking so I did get a preview of how cute they are together, but the wedding day was a fun first meet! Walnut Lane is such a sweet little venue tucked in the woods. There are so many beautiful little nooks to photograph and the closeness of the venue makes everything feel so intimate! We had plenty of time for portraits after the first look and after the ceremony and my lovely second photographer, Mabyn, and I loved chasing the light with these sweet newlyweds. They look pretty good in that golden sunshine, right?
