Emily + Alex. Hodgin Valley Farm. Pt 2.

September 21, 2011

Part two of Emily + Alex’s wedding. . .

Hodgin Valley Farm is such a gorgeous venue! Jonathan and I made sure to get lots of photos of the area. . .

This horse buggy was around during the reception to give rides. I love this idea!

I am in love with this cake spread. There were so many different kinds and they all looked incredible!

Alex made these cake toppers himself! I love the little purple tie on the groom :)

Iron Hen made some seriously delicious hors d’oeuvres!

Ok, this is so much fun . . . during the reception these three walked around and collected money for the “wedding fund”. Any time someone donated, they got a piece of Alex’s tie!

These gifts for the padrinhos (witnesses) from Happy Camper Smores were so cute! It definitely gave me a craving for smores, though!

Emily and Alex made their grand exit, drove around the house, and came back for some extended portrait time! It was really nice being able to do portraits without the time crunch of trying to get into the reception. Plus the sunset was gorgeous!

Sometimes Alex and Emily are romantic . . .

. . . and sometimes they are silly.

I love this shot. I think it fits them perfectly! The entire day they both seemed relaxed and just enjoyed everything. Also, who doesn’t love a bride that will climb hay bales?

These two photos are my favorites. . .

Alex and Emily, I so enjoyed working with you both. It was an honor to document your wedding day. . .maybe Jonathan and I will come up to Boston sometime soon and you can show us around!

My sister got married there just a couple of months ago! And Iron Hen catered! Hilarious. That place is gorgeous, isn’t it? Lovely photos as always.

These are AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much Alexa!!! Can’t wait to look through them more!! And you and Jonathan are welcome up to Boston anytime! Seriously!
