I’ll tell you two things about Tiffani + Jamal’s wedding. It was SO sweet and full of love and happy tears – and – it was SO windy!! I don’t think I’ve ever photographed a wedding on a more windy day than this one! Though, being in the middle of April and following a few days of storms, we were just grateful for the sunshine! Seriously, it was such a joyful day and I couldn’t help tearing up a couple of times with these two wonderful families as Tiffani and Jamal “finally” made it to this day!
Sometimes the wedding of a couple that’s been together for a long time is not quite as emotional as the wedding of those that are more newly in love – maybe they’ve gotten super comfortable with each other or have lived together so long that marriage is more of a formality – but I can tell you that was not the case with these two! They were both so obviously full of butterflies before the ceremony and brimming over with gratefulness that the day had finally arrived that they got to become husband and wife! Plus both of their families seemed to feel the same! I don’t know that I’ve ever seen so many happy tears! I loved being a part of this beautiful afternoon and hope that these photos make you feel like you were there, too!
