Southern Secret Garden. Styled Shoot.

September 14, 2012

I’m so excited to share some wedding inspiration with you all today! Now that this has been featured on Every Last Detail blog (and no longer top-secret) I get to post some of my favorite images from this styled shoot that Leigh Pearce and I dreamt up earlier this year! I love doing styled shoots with the amazing local vendors that we have here in beautiful North Carolina. It’s a chance for us to put our creative minds together and come up with something fun and different!

We styled this shoot around the idea of an intimate wedding in a secret garden, with a hint of Southern charm, of course! We set up and shot in the beautiful courtyard of the O.Henry Hotel in Greensboro, NC with a (gorgeous) real-life newlywed couple. I hope the stunning florals, intimate setting, and beautiful invitations inspire you! Or at least give you something pretty to look at for a few minutes :)   Make sure to click through to watch the video at the end of the post by the awesome Iron Kite Films!

Ashleigh always does an incredible job on stationery. . .  The colors and style were just perfect!

. . . and Leigh is such a pro at styling a beautiful tabletop.

I seriously can’t get enough of these gorgeous blooms from Just Priceless! They smelled great, too.

Our groom needed a little splash of color too. . .

Don’t you love this intricate updo on our bride? Carla works magic, I tell ya ;)

The O.Henry Hotel is just loaded with beautiful backdrops! I love the greenery on this wall.

Seriously, Louisa. Stop it! ;)

Maxie B’s created two beautifully detailed cakes for us. . .

Don’t you love the rosettes?
