Emily + Alex. Hodgin Valley Farm Wedding.

September 21, 2011

I’ve finally narrowed down my favorite photos enough to share Emily + Alex’s fabulous farm wedding with you (it is in two parts, though!). I promise, you will be able to see the love that these two put into every aspect of their wedding! Emily used tons of Etsy vendors, friends, and family to pull off their wedding vision. It was amazing! I had been looking forward to this wedding since I met Alex and Emily months before. We immediately hit it off and they told me all about their love story . . . how they met, how they fell in love, and how Alex proposed (which is a great and hilarious story, by the way). They are just perfect together. Alex and his family are from Brazil so they mixed lots of Brazilian traditions and foods into the wedding. It was so fun to see these two families join together!

I love Emily’s choice of wedding shoes . . . something stylish and something fun!

This Bible was given to Emily many years ago and part of the note inside reads “…when you walk down the aisle I hope you will carry this Bible…” So precious!

Alex was in the next room, checking the time. . . He was excited to finally see his bride!

The ringbearer was cracking me up… he was worn out before the ceremony even started!

Everyone got a little emotional when Emily put on the dress. She was stunning!

Emily got the same veil that I wore on my wedding day! She emailed me a couple of weeks before the wedding about the veil after she found a photo of me wearing it on Etsy.com. . . yeah, we had a little moment there ;)

Alex was totally working that suit! Doesn’t he look great?

I love catching these little side moments during family photos . . .

We checked in on the bride one more time before walking down to the ceremony site. She was so relaxed!

Now these are some happy newlyweds!

Part two of the wedding to follow . . .
