Following a Friday of severe weather and crazy storms and a less-than-ideal forecast, Katherine + Logan’s wonderfully sunny wedding day was so joyful and lovely! I have loved staying in touch with them both since their engagement session last year. I even saw them taking a tour of Summerfield Farms while photographing another wedding there earlier this year! We have all been looking forward to this day for a long time! And I knew that with Carly as their wedding planner, everything was going to be perfect! I think it’s safe to say that no one was disappointed.
The ceremony was so sweet and not rushed, which I loved, and the light was so perfect! Seriously, such a beautiful summer day that had everyone in good spirits! And on that note, Katherine + Logan had buried a bottle of bourbon on site a month before the wedding day. This southern tradition was credited for the great weather and it was so fun to watch them dig it up and share a sip in celebration! Their little pup, Kevin, joined the party after the ceremony and had everyone oohing and aahing over the cuteness of his little bowtie. The food was amazing, including late night snacks, and the band was SO fun and interactive! It was an amazing party that everyone so clearly enjoyed.
Katherine + Logan, I hope that you have had the best first month as newlyweds! Your wedding was certainly a day to be remembered and I hope that you are reliving every wonderful moment as you look through the photos now!
