One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is getting to photograph the weddings of close friends and family. I know many photographers don’t like trying to shoot a wedding that they want to enjoy as a guest but it’s fun for me! I love getting behind the scenes and being a part of everything that happens on the wedding day.
My cousin Makenna was married a few weeks ago and I’m so thrilled that I was the lucky one that got to photograph it :) She has obviously found the perfect match in Dylan and their day had a great balance of laughs, emotion, and that beautiful California sunshine! (Aah, I’ve missed it!) I loved seeing the nervous excitement as both the girls and guys got ready. Makenna + Dylan’s close circle of friends and family giving so much love and support. The tears shed when Makenna’s grandpa saw her for the first time before walking down the aisle. And, for the second wedding in a row, an awesome dance party! Also, getting an In-N-Out burger after the wedding was an extra bonus ;)
